It's strange, but I don't remember much of any of the maps that form the ForumWars, Clone wars or Manifold 7 games. (Which is why it is no big deal for me to sub for a temporary absence)
I do remember a couple of times when the random map appeared thinking "Oh, if I just connected here and here, that'd be real neat." I think that's how the Great Fjords got created - I got a map with a couple of short ones and (esp for Pirates) a nick here and a slight diversion there and voila, instant protection for Pirate bases - that's what true Norsemen would do, anyway.
Of course, since my Harddrive crash I need to wait till I'm back in Vancouver before I see any of these maps again.
