  • Multiplayer Elimination

When playing a multiplayer game, and a human controlled faction is eliminated, do they ever escape in a colony pod and restart elsewhere? Or are they eliminated completely, as when the only player is eliminated in a single player game?

I wonder if it's possible to use the scenario editor to remove a faction completely, and add in a new one (in SMAX)?
    To those who understand,
    I extend my hand.
    To the doubtful I demand,
    Take me as I am.

re the first point - it depends what rule has been selected from he "don't restart eliminated player" checklist. Some PBEMs crash when a player is eliminated (the solution is to backtrack one turn and for the player to disband his own base) - some continue.

re the second point - yes. Use the "reload faction" button of the scenario editor, and it'll show a list of the seven currently logged for the game or scenario. Select one, and replace with the name of the faction you ant to introduce. Factions also can be eliminated from the game completely with the "eliminate faction" button directly above that one.
