  • and moved smartly on to Mark13.

it's coming up for 3 months or so since Christmann went ofline for 'a couple of weeks"

I can play on indefinitely until (if) his return, or we can post for a permanent replacement.

What do you guys want to do?

    • Googlie, I would say that the choice is up to you. I am all for you continuing to play on, if you wish. But, certainly don't feel obligated to hold the spot for Christmann, since it is pretty obvious that he will not be returning.

      • In what seems to be a continuation of the bug posted earlier, the game now seems to be asking for Black Sunrise rather than Ironwood (??). I've sent the turn to both, but I've never seen this happen before, it's quite strange...

Maybe the turn order has somehow changed?

        • If you do need a replacement player, I would be happy to step in.

          • I echo what Qantaga said but I would welcome HObbes taking over if that is what is decided.

            • Problem may have resolved itself.
It asked for Quantaga, the correct next player.

              • 2116 sent to DiDad.

Here's yet another strange occurence in this game. I never played 2115. The game went from 2114 to 2116. I'm not too concerned about this, but it makes me wonder if someone retired from the game? That's the only way I can think of that the game could have skipped a year.

                • I never played 15 either.
I got that move for SITS, which was supposed to be a move for me, 15, to be exact, and was 16 for her.
Oh, well, who cares? Lets play, see if we can catch up for lost time.

                    2117 to Lady SITS

We never saw 2115, either, but it doesn't seem that anything happened. So the year just vanished.

Well, I played 2115 and saved it for CM/Googlie. I've opened both and they are 2115...

                      • 2117 to Mark

(and I got both 2115 and 2116 and played both and sent on to Mark - at least that's my assumption as on saving I bring up the last turn, delete, change the year and save, and my deleted files have both a 2115 and a 2116 so I'm inferring that I played the respective turns then renamed the year for the Mark save)

                        • Again, it's asked for Black Sunrise - Ironwood hasn't retired, has he? That's the only explanation I can think of...

                          Whatever, 2117 to Black Sunrise.

Mark, Ironwood must have retired. That is the only thing that I have ever seen that would cause the game to skip a year and it does explain why it is asking for Black Sunrise at the end of your turn now.

It's really a shame, though. I wish he would have let us find a replacement, since the allure of this game is role-playing all seven factions. Oh well, at least six will move a little quicker.
