    Turn 2178 to the Spartans

      2179 to the Gaians.

The Spartans, for example, are concerned about the Hive's continued building of Chaos Needlejets. A military buildup could destroy the fragile balance of power.

The Hive reserve's it's right to defends itself as it sees fit. We also see no reason to justify ourselfs as we have made no claims in regard to accepting UN-style politics and/or territory claims.

The Hive denounces the Spartan rethoric as demagogy and as an attempt to discredit the Hive... the same spartans who, turns ago, tried an hostile bid for governorship.

          Turn 2179 to the Hive

I hope cool heads can be kept...

The Spartans have no objections to defence, however, the Hive is not threatened by anyone, Chaos Needlejets are purely offensive units, and the Spartans are the only neighbours of the Hive. It should be obvious to everyone that if this buildup continues, it is an act of hostility towards the Spartans, and we will have to respond in kind.

When did participating in a free, democratic election become a hostile act? The Governor is elected for 20 years, not for life.

                2180 to the Gaians.

The Spartans are happy to see that the Hive has chosen the way of peace. May conflict be a thing of the past.

                  Turn 2180 to the Hive.

Please note the building of HSA

                    Turn to Morgan.

Now, since this IS my 2nd game, I can ask stupid questions: SITS, how many crowlers did you had to sacrife to get the HSA in 0 turns? Or did you had 700 credits laying around? How did you do that?

There was nothing magical about it. Maybe reload one of the more recent turns and have a look. To answer your question literally - one crawler.

If you're really stuck then I'll tell you...

                          2181 to the Gaians.

Command Nexus built (sorry, SPasmofiT ), and it is election time again! This time, even the Hive themselves are making a hostile bid for governorship. (I assume they will vote against themselves to preserve their integrity ) Votes:

Net Maverick (72, for Net Maverick)
                          SPasmofiT (55)
                          ------------------------
                          SITS (52)
                          Lal (42, for SPasmofiT)
                          SamIAm (23)
                          Miriam (15, for SPasmofiT)

I voted for Net Maverick as I don't wish the restrictions to be lifted

                            NM - 124
                            S - 55

                              I voted for... MYSELF!
But my joy was disturbed by the aggressive border-pushing of the Spartans in the Monson Jungle... this kind of provocation should not go unanswered!
