Has anyone gotten the game lately? I haven't gotten anything in a day ot two.

I sent last turn to TMS last Friday. I'm pretty sure I gave it the wrong game year in the file name though. Hope that's not what is slowing things down.

If required I will resend. Hope TMS isn't having trouble with real life.

Hi, I'm back from my trip. ColDark, the date thing wasn't what was slowing things down then, but it is now. I'm a bit confused about the last game file I received. It looks like the turn I already played while I was in NY; the game date in the file is 2123, which seems a year off - I agree that it should be 2124. I have two emails (Aug 29 & Sept 01) whose subjects each say that they are MY2123 and each contain a file which unzips to a .sav file dated Aug 01 . They all appear to be the same. Presumably I just got the incorect file the last time.

I guess if TMS has the real 2124, I could use a resend; if not, then we'll need to back up further. If I get bored, I may play this turn again and send it on.

I resent the 2124 turn to TMS (I correctly numbered it this time) so TMS, when you play it (again!) you'll get the tampering message. my fault everyone, so apologies.

Hm.... how odd. The latest game I have in my save file is 2123 :/ I passed that turn thinking it was the correct one.

Come on you guys, try to get the file names and years right - even after all that confusion, I still get a zip file named ...2123 enclosing a sav file named ...2123 containing 2124's actual game file. At least the game file was the right year.

Adding insult to injury, I get one of those uninformative messages telling me how I lost one of my precious men without seeing the battle (maybe wouldn't have happened in the original version - grrrr - youall owe me one].

I'm really sorry, as the custodian of the year changer it must be my responsibility to make sure that at least I renumber the turns correctly.

As penance the turn delivery unit has been punished, and has promised that it will get things right in future.
