Sorry to interrupt, BUT Vitamin J: I have twice had messages to you returned with permanent fatal errors. Can you give me an alternate address for the DM2 turns.

2148 has been sent to JohnD. Expect a flurry of covert actions at a base near you...
Hobbes: I just sent it to you. Just in case: vitaminj31@hotmail.com
Paul: You should use the hotmail address for the time being. And thanks for getting us a replacement. Though now that I think of it, maybe Theohall tried to contact me and couldn't... Have you talked to him at all?Last edited by vitamin j; January 16, 2002, 01:10.

I'm pretty sure I resent the last turn to him before my email problems popped up. In any event, I had sent him the turn just after Christmas, and I never heard that he hadn't gotten it during all the time when I know my mail WAS working... If you want me to try and contact him again, I will, but if he hasn't even checked out the status of the game by now, I doubt he's interested. I'm sorry I gave you the impression I'd talked to him.

Hi everyone.
MY 2148 sent to Skanderbeg / Peacekeepers
ExternalMessage:
Subroutine >Theohall< has been archived by >SupervisorySys/MgmtAlert/PerformEval(((FAILURE)))<
Subroutine >HackerMuller< has been activated by >SupervisorySys/MgmtTrial/PerformEval(((Pending)))<
Due to suspected mismanangement, the prior operational team has been suspended and a new operational team is now in its probationary period. Should it develop that Subroutine >Theohall< is successfully rehabillitated and returns from its seeming endlesslooplooplooplooplooplooploop, before the conclusion of the probationary period, Subroutine >HackerMuller< will graciously withdraw. Meanwhile, we would offer olive branches to all.
(accidentally hit the end turn button before changing our name; we'll hopefully remember next turn - as I said above, if Theohall is really still around, I don't mind getting out if he returns before I invest too much in it and get too bonded to the game)
John

2149 to Commissioner Skanderbeg of the Peacekeepers.
Gee, I didn't know that this was a game on the tournament map with those Aliens at the poles .
I suppose that one of them did in poor Dierdra ; anyone remember which one (and which pole) ?
So I guess I'm supposed to catch up by taking advantage of the Aliens, or by wringing their necks (right!) if I can't take advantage of them (if I can find their necks) ? I haven't played in an MP game with the Aliens, so I don't know whether this sounds like a newbie or is stating the obvious, but it might be worth our while to gang up on them before they get too strong - they do have a lot of land to work with, especially if they each have their own poles, which I suppose is likely and they can be really nasty if they get well established.
I feel like a charity case in this game - Anyone got some alms for the poor ?Last edited by johndmuller; January 28, 2002, 13:52.

John:
I'm pretty sure Deirdre was eliminated before the game began. It's just 4 players, each with their own island... I've been thinking some sort of "planetary council" might be in order, though I'm sort of enjoying the current diplomatic situation...
By the way, my trusted pact-mate, Brother Skanderberg, heads the Peacekeeper faction. While I, Majordomo J, am proud leader of the Spartan faction. Together, we form the Peacemaker faction...
