Now that Mark13 is back, I've asked Buster to play a few of my turns while I'm moving home. This game moves fairly sedately, and I don't want to make things worse and frustrate the hell out of everyone!

I confess that I have heard a rumour that Buster has played the Hive before. I want to assure you all that this has nothing to do with my decision and also to say that I shall be back at the helm before you know it, stumbling around in the dark, striking autocratic poses and wondering what to do with all that free support.

Curses! And triple curses! Is it actually possible that my cunning ploy has been foiled? Hand over the game for a week or two to a skilled Hive player, return hoping for great things on the AC Score front ... only to find that the game has got stuck.
