Viriato, going anywhere particular for holiday? Palma is really nice if you get a chance to go there...I enjoyed it the 3 times my ship pulled in there during Med Cruises (I'm in the Navy so we got to see lots of the Med)

Theohall: No I never been in Palma but I already spent hollidays in the south of Spain - Marbella (twice) and Alicante.

This year I'm going to the south of Potugal - Algarve, wich is not bad. It's quite similar to the south of Spain actually. My daughter is only 17 months old so I rather stay closer to home.

I wanted to visit Ilha da Madeira wich is a wonderful place to rest with great landscapes, but my wife didn't agree .

Viriato, I know nothing about the vacation areas you and Theo are referring to, but I do know that I am very jealous.

Marbella is really nice...my wife has a cousin in the Guardia Civil in Marbella.

Haven't seen Alicante yet.

Spent one weekend in Algarve which wasn't near enough time.
