Excellent!! and away we go. Oh and I post some "flavour" sometimes. I enjoy it when others do as well. I'm usually not as long winded as this time LOL but do find that it adds to my fun with the game to be in character sometimes.
      ---------------------------------------------------------

Cbn looked around at his followers as the escape pod shuddered and pitched. They looked back at him adoringly, seemingly drawing confidence in his serenity despite the shaking of the pod. While his demeanour was placid, cbn's mind was racing. What had happened to unity to bring them crashing down to Planet in this fashion? Cbn put that issue aside as irrelevant. It did not matter what had caused their predicament, the past was the past.

He surveyed the interior of the pod once more. there was food and equipment sufficient to maintain them for several days, if they could land safely. The people were diligent and obeyed unquestioningly so he felt they could build a thriv--- BOOOOMMMMM

The pod crashed down and began skidding across the landscape. The pod rattled and shook for what seemed an eternity before coming to a rest. CBN lept to his feet, checking his folowers for injuries. Discovering only minor injuries, he assembled groups of 6 people issuing them hand weapons.
"Each of you is a patrol squad. Your missions are to explore the surrounding terrain and report back with your findings. Remember that this is a foreign world so assume NOTHING. water may be poisonous, animals may be aggressive, the land may hide quicksand. Be constantly vigilant and go forward for the good of the Hive !!"

With that cbn nodded and the hatch began to slowly open . . . . .

          Turn 2101 to Twister.

I look around and I'm struck by the - difference. Yes, the difference. Life is such a wonderful thing - and here I am on a different planet yet I feel the same about life. Life doesn't have to be green to be loved.

btw, those of you with icq numbers will be getting a request from me to add you to my icq list. I know we can't have game contact yet. I'm just getting the infrastructure in place.
