      2213 to Jschwab

      --------

Sorry for the reload. I left the game open, and did some work. When I got back the boys had quit, so they could play stars! I did everything the same. Only changes were a former made it to its destination with 1/3 of a movement point this time, and a crawler didn't run into a spore-launcher (+2 mins this turn, - 30 energy next turn).

      --------

The planetary governor election has been called.

      Candidates:

      Misotu 156 votes
      Big_canuk 115 votes

      Electors:

      Tau 59 votes
      Jschwab 33 votes
      Xwaste 36 votes
      RedFred 29 votes
      Aki-Rynn 39 votes

Please post your vote in the thread, along with running totals

      Thank-you

And I was going to comment how buying and paying for votes is so much more effective than cheerleaders, but....

Yeah, well the cheerleaders were just to use up the left-over budget

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Now that we have survived the early years, we feel that the second century should be one of peaceful co-existence, democratic leadership and plenty of jobs for bureaucrats.

                              2214 is off to Googlie.

The Drones welcome the new Governor, and are confident that she will uphold the ideals of the U.N. Charter and be a strong defender of human rights and worker's rights. While the previous Governor made no attempts to impose his system on others, we do believe that the treatment of ordinary workers in Hive cities leaves a lot to be desired. It is hoped that they too will now let all their people truly enjoy this era of peace and prosperity.
