-Faction Preferences: Don't like the Hive, Morgan, or Cult of Planet. Will play anybody else.

Factions-- Not Miriam (and no human should have the aliens) -- 1 game as the Cult please (doubt I will have any trouble getting them)-- Other preferences include Drones, Uni, PK and Deidre
Maximum --Transcend difficulty
Two --- 1 game as cult (at least average fungus) and 1 game as someone else

Will play any of the factions from the original Alpha, but preferably not Zhakarov
Prefer Huge Map of Planet, but will play any reasonable map
Prefer to play one fast-paced game at a time, can and will only play the original (no Crossfire, it would be a pain to get my hands on and I don't know it or like it)
My prefered rules are Blind Research off and Tech Steal on (the Blind Research in my opinion may be realistic but it adds only randomness not skill), but both of those are negotiable

There should be enough new players to get some new games going soon ( and I am SO appreciative of the fact that people take the time to set these things up) but I was wondering if there are any system or software requirements needed to run MP smoothly.
