The graphics problem is a well known issue with Smacx scenario games.

Graphics are given to each player according to the sequence in alpha centauri ini. It gets especialy messy with Smacx games with Mixed factions. Only way to fix it is to edit ac.ini and lign faction sequence to the one in the game.

It is only cosmetic, even if may look like Lal you will still play as Gaia.
