Sorry for the reloads - I was running Norton Utilities in the background to try and identify what was causing the freezes, and I think that attempt by itself caused the game to freeze - really mucked things up.

Good news tho is that I finally got my laptop recognized by my ISP for DSL use, so I can retire my clunky desktop soon (or at least put it in the shop to rid it of its freeze problem)
