Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I am still very much a rookie at MP. So I have a couple of questions for you:
1. Am I correct in assuming that I must declare probe actions in the turn that I make them?
2. How do other players regard probe actions? Personally, I would not be impressed by someone stealing tech and it may result in a downgraded diplomatic status. Is that reasonable?
3.How about infiltration? This is something that would not bother me any more than I'd be upset if somebody got the EG, but I want to know how others would feel about it.
When you probe someone, a screen comes up which ask what the probee wants to do about it. Problem is, the prober, gets the screen. You must click "Vendetta", unless, you get *prior* premission from the probee to do otherwise. You don't have to declare your action, unless against a pactmate.
Infiltration does not result in a screen popping up, so doesn't require any action, unless it is against a pactmate. At least I think infiltrating a pactmate would require notification. Hmmm.. not sure?
As far as I am aware, you are not required to make any notification of infiltration, regardless of the diplomatic status. So that would include pactmates.
If you steal a tech without the prior permission of the victim, I believe you have to choose "declare vendetta" from the screen that pops up.
