The tears welled in Cha-Rynn's eyes as with a faltering voice she addressed the throng:

"I am saddened to report the loss of the valiant members of Alpha patrol. As you know, the reconnaissance force split into two with half taking the Unity Rover and heading towards the Alien Base. Unfortunately the remnants of the squad disobeyed my instructions to likewise head directly for the monolith for rest and repair, then to the alien base but instead opened a Unity Seed Pod they stumbled across.

"It was infested with native lifeform, and in their already weakened state they proved no match for the mindworms. I am sorry to say that all perished. I know many of you had brothers, sons and even fathers in that squad, and my heart goes out to you.

"I have instructed both the rover crew and Alphonse to make all possible speed to reach that rogue mindworm and either capture it or exterminate it.

"Small consolation, I know, but Planet's Will be done."

It was incredible how many lifes had changed the Unity's disaster... I can already remember the efforts of the factions' leaders to save their crew... I can remember Santiago and her faith in her possibilities...
I can remember Morgan and his faith in money..."I'm multimillionaire... this is my religion!", he said...
I can remember the Santiago's Pod burning in the atmosphere... I can remember the Morgan's Pod sinked in the dark ocean...We are alone? Lal,Yang,Miriam are alive? Captain said that the dead people don't count. We need to think at the alive.
