The tree-hugging minions of Lady Diedre have ruthlessly attacked my holdings. I ask that all Chironites cancel their treaties with Lady Diedre. You may re-establish truces, as I don't expect you to help with my military campaign. If you would like to help, let me know, so we may co-ordinate our attacks

Maintaining a treaty, increases the tree-huggers income. If you would like to maintain your treaty for your own income, then I would expect compensation in the form of payments of part of your trade income from the Lady, from each of you. Any extra you make, you can of course keep for yourselves.

Of course, trading techs with the Lady, would be deeply frowned upon.

Why, my dear Mr. Chairman (and Pactmate) - in these hard times as we struggle to eke out a meager living on this inhospitable planet, every sou of energy credits is indeed priceless.

May I ask if you will be willing to reimburse us for the lost income if we indeed break our treaties with the Lady?

And who will protect us and our research scientists if we do break our treaty and the Lady takes this as an affront and declares Vendetta upon us. As a neighbour - and a witness to her mindworms patrolling our mutual border, I would be loth to aggravate her more than is necessary.

I will, however, agree to not trading technologies with her, and will use my bnest efforts to have her call off this vendetta against you.
