Apologies, I'm afraid the timing on this sucked. Looks like I'm back up now, fingers crossed. Anyway, I do have a suggestion to make ... Keygen, you might consider emailing turn sent messages instead of posting them? A few people do this in some of the games I play because they have the same slow connection problems that you do. Sending a quick email to everyone is faster than loading web pages, and it works pretty well. That way, even if the game goes astray, the next player usually receives the turn sent email and knows to ask for a resend ...

I just wanted to post that Misotu(CMN) is having some major internet server problems the last few days.
I'm not sure what to do about the situation with Keygen's schedule and posting problems. It would be nice if he could post turns played, but it seems this is not possible. I hate to see him not actually playing his turns because of this. Maybe a sub player to fill in until his schedule is lighter? I guess the decision is Keygen's, and any other suggestions are welcome from other players. I'm not quite sure how we should proceed.

I vote against emailing of posts. I run an internet business and am already getting 20-50 emails a day, I do NOT need more email coming in. Having moves posted to the board means I can deal with them once a day. Receiving email from player A saying he sent a move to player B, when I am C or D, is just a big waste of my time. And when you factor in that I am in multiple PBEM games, it could get quickly out of hand.
Check your email! If you don't get moves every day or two, check the board! It's not that hard. And if you're paying for time online, downloading an extra 20 emails a day isn't going to help any, either.

Well, as I see Black Sunrise has a substantial problem on opening extra emails regarding smac & smacx turn postings. I guess he's right. I just propose if we finally decide to email the turn posts that to send an email with only an informative title (e.g. MY 2120 to Keygen) and no text inside the email body. In that way we won't have to open the email and its very little size won't be time-consuming. But if just one guy is still objecting then we won't sent emails regarding turn posts, it's ok by me. But if speed is not a problem to post here then please keep posting even if we decide to email the turn posts.
Misotu, do you have any sub for you to suggest just in case?

MY2120 to Black Sunrise
Sorry about the delay. I was out of town for the holiday.
I don't mind sending/receiving email turn notification. I am willing to do either/both."That which does not kill me, makes me stronger." -- Friedrich Nietzsche
