Gaians are concerned at the sighting of a uni probe foil. The outlook of having our carefully grown technologies fall prey to industrial espionage carried out by rogue factions are having the eco hawks already yelling for purging the planet of the cold scientists for whom nothing is holy.

Immediate departure should however calm the waters.
Uni is also reminded of probe warfare rules. Vendetta must be declared when the message comes.
We trust uni will see that it will be in their own interest to avoid this.

We apologise for the inherent misunderstanding that has occured between the University and our ecologically sensitive neighbours. However, it should be noted that we are not puppets of the Gaians. The probe foil spotted of the Gaian mainland was merely an explorer - and had every right to be where it was. It was not even close to Gaian territory - we would appreciate it if the sighting of ships in neutral waters would not be treated with such hostility. Also, whilst we are grateful for the reminder offered, we can assure our Gaian friends that no such measures are necessary.
