Well, my cash flow is finally starting to exist... and if I can get wealth going, the virtual world is probably 3 years away.. just about the time I finish all the rec commons, heh.
I have too many bases.. I have about 1/4 of my population as drones. I've tried getting my psych up as high as 30% and it doesn't help. I'm losing too much production and my rec commons are building slow cuz of the low production (except for a few bases). That and I am the only one not able to build crawlers. Games far from over I suppose... but I'm going to start falling in the standings.
Reports today accross University Island was that the Provost was incredibly upbeat after finalizing dealings with the Morganites today. "Negotiations were tough, as they always are when you are haggling with the best and brightest economic minds on the planet, but we are pleased to say it looks like we have finalized negotiations with Tau and his followers to have a full Pact with their empire."
It is reported that the Provost was much more upbeat after tech trading than he thought he'd be. "The benefits of wealth are so great its hard to imagine turning away from them. That is, at least until we figure out how best to utilize our _knowledge_ of research facilities on this planet.

In a recent meeting, the Morgan Industries board of directors decided to issue shares to all Morganic citizens, starting a new 'corporate democracy'. The general assembly was held yesterday, and CEO Tau Ceti won the vote of confidence by an overwhelming margin.
It is also rumoured that Morgan Industries intends to increase its research effort, possibly at the expense of industrial production and a reduction in profits. No official comments were available today.
