  • Another Multiplayer Diplomacy Issue

Hey, anybody know of a way to trade units and/or cities in multiplayer? If there is none, these things (along with no multiplayer diplomacy till players meet option) being patched up would make the game damned near perfect.

You can give units to a Pact Bro/Sis, but not bases. Maybe they'll change this in 4.0.

To give units, move them to a foreign base and press Ctrl-Shift-U to transfer control to an ally.

In Single Player, you actually have to move them just inside the other player's borders.
      Is it different in MP?

I think that is all you have to do in MP, MoSe, if you like we can try it in the Bloodfest game or in AC. If you actually successfully give one or more of your units to me I promise to give them right back, I'll even hand deliver them to your closest city. " "

You guys are right. Just move into allied territory. I guess the only time I tried this in MP was when I shuttled some MWs to an ally and i put them in his base.

Oddly enough when I went into the Scenario Editor to try it out, at first it wouldn't let me do it. Then I clicked on the Commlinks button to make sure the Pact was indeed there, sure enough it was. Then I tried again and it allowed it! Maybe that's what happened the last time I tried it in the S.E.

          But still ...

Think this one answers too to someone else's question
