When I sent the game, I just played it normally, so it shouldn't be bearing any mark (did you see it the FIRST time you loaded it?).
Thereafter the savefile has been passed thru your PCs only, the one I might be opening never gets in the circle again, so...

I didn't look at the first turn or two... I think I still have all the files sent TO me and that I sent though... But won't it complain if I look at them? Maybe I should batch them up for you to look at CMN...

It was marked CHEATED on the Score screen. I had just presumed that was due to Scenario editting...

I have all files coming and going. MariOne, do you need them? Lets get going, I've done about 300 SP turns since my last post. I think you guys are just playing Diplomacy or some such. Aredhran probably just mucked it up when he was drunk anyway. Big deal, lets go. Can the game be reset so that if anyone screws around with it in the future it will show up? Sorry, but I hadn't the time yet to comply with my cMn duties, I thought hey giv'em few turns to go.

I checked now the file .SAV I sent to Lord Zod. I played it along for a couple of rounds.
IT DOESN'T REPORT ANY *CHEATED* TAG IN THE SCORE OR ELSEWHERE!!!
The first feedback .sav I got from you is PK turn 2131 from Aredhran's Morgan. It reports the cheating. At first look, I can't say which irregularity has been done: it could simply be activating the editor to look at the whole map and the switch back, that wouldn't result from a .sav, would it?

So I see myself forced to ask you to send me all the incoming and outgoing Erewhon.sav you kept stored. Of course, I understand it could have been made accidentally, at least we could pinpoint the moment at which it occurred, and restart from there.
Otherwise if you can wait till monday, I'll try to replay 3 turns the way you did, maybe I can correct the scenario where it showed to be uninteresting, and start again.

I'd need the all the .sav from 2130, first turn, and the 2131 .sav up to beginning of Morgan's turn

I forgot to say:
Newhon1 started from the same template, and I produced their 1st turn the same way.

Their .sav do not report the CHEATED! tag.

I was drunk allright, but I did *NOT* cheat. And it's impossible to start the editor for a MP game anyway. In short, I didn't do it (intentionally at least)

Mario, I'll send you all the files I have tonight when I get home, you'll have them tomorrow morning.

This sucks. Do we *really* care about this "cheated" flag ? It does not prevent us from playing, now does it ?

I will send the files tonight. I hope Aredhran understands that I did not mean to in anyway point a finger at him in my earlier post. I was just joking around to make light of the thing. More than likely it is a bug or a mistake, and if it was a mistake, I probably made it since I am the newbie. I doubt that Firaxis has made this thing tamperproof.

I canceled on the save and exit screen a couple of times on the first turn because I was confused about where to save the turn. See my earlier post. Other than that I think it has been by the book on my end.

Hope that from Chairman Flomeise's e-mail it is clear that it was a bug in his installation of SMAC (unrecoverable, lest of format C:).
It's the first time I hear of it, but tfs99 saw it strike many times.

As a CMN I had to check if that tag was the evidence of a possible cheat.

Jimmy, you aren't the only Newbie to PBEM. This is my first as well. I didn't mean to raise such a stink...

So, CMN, we are clear to go? I have been looking for my next turn since Saturday, and now understand why people sign up for 4, 6, and even 8 (8!!) PBEMS! Can't understand what they are going to do in a few months when 4 of them roll in at once though.

It was my intention not to role play the faction nor the faction leader, Lord Zod, but to role play the First Consul to the Gaian leader, jimmytrick. Now I'm so bored I think I'll role play Monica, bi-sexual lover of Hillary, wife of Bill, who, just to keep things straight, is secretary to the Second Consul of the Gaian Planetary Empire. And who is currently the Second Consul of the GPE?

I'm in 4 PBEM as a player and I prefer having 4 turns rolling in at once than waiting for 2-3 days with nothing showing up.
