The thing with the re or yellow folders works this way: whenever you enter the forums(and that is determined when you access apolyton.net/forums only, not if you go to the summary of the forums from an internal link) a cookie with that time is stored in your browser. The time of the last post for each thread is compared to your last time of entry, which is shown in the summary of forums.

I hope I'm clear...

EST - Eastern Standard Time.

Daylight time is +1 hour from Standard time.

While I can see the potential for the threaded forums, having to keep an eye on yet another place is not a very welcome concept to me.
