Heah Enigma Nova,
there appear to already be 4 players for this game (ChairmanSlick, Fosse, binTravken, and Zeiter). However, Chaunk and I are currently looking for a 3rd for the next 3 X 2 game. Are you interested in joining us in this? If so, let me know which Factions you are interested in as well as your game preferences, and I will post the specifics, and we can start the Game's negotiations from there.
>>>>>>>>>>>>Sorry for the others but i want this game to be smacx and these people are able to play smacx....
Please can these four players post there faction preferences:
Map preferences are totally up to darsnan as he has creative control... the islands will be identical (i hope)... and pods will be off.. I would like it if native life was kept in tact a little and that the map wasn't toooo big.. but aside from that its up to Darsnan.
Im in and im Morgan - my most beloved fac!
Im VERY positive towards SMAX as it allows normal Golden Ages for my energy-rich faction..
If someone else badly wants Morgan,I can rearrange to PKs

Btw, my play rate is 2turns/day (maybe 3)
1-morning
1-evening no turns in weekends - weather is too nice!
my GMT is +2
maybe Darsnan can arrange optimal turn order by our GMTs..?

UNSIGN me!
My ISP totally went off - is installing optcables in my perimeter..
Can play only 1turn/day & dont want such slow PBEM
Guess you dont want it too..

My ISP is fritzing, but there's a way around that.
My e-mail is sob55@uow.edu.au,
I can send and receive e-mail when the Internet is down, because my mail server is on the local network.
And the 3*2 game?
What are the rules for that?
Uni//Drones is an obvious choice,
even better if the factions are contacted at the start.
EDIT: Should probably mention...
Don't e-mail me from any of the following addresses:
hotmail
yahoo
msn
aol
because all of these immediately get sent to the trash.
For -=HYPER*TURNS=-, we need a good facility of communication.
Here's my schematic for -=H*T=- :
Optimised player time:
Turns are scheduled to be played at 6-hour intervals,
optimally arranged based on the GMT we can probably play.
For clarity I call the players A, B, C and D
A plays from 00:00 to 06:00 GMT
B plays from 06:00 to 12:00 GMT
C plays from 12:00 to 18:00 GMT
D plays from 18:00 to 24:00 GMT
------
Efficient turn rules: PLAYER A: NOT YOUR ALLOTED TIME TO PLAY:
Wait until it is.
PLAYER A: YOUR TIME TO PLAY:
If you receive the turn from player D, play it.
Otherwise, play the turn sent by the GMs.
Send your completed turn to all of the GMs and Player B.
GMS: PLAYER A's TIME TO PLAY:
If you have received the turn from player D,
Open it up, press END TURN and send to Player B and yourself.
If you have not received the turn from player D,
Open the penalty turn done on player D, press END TURN and send to Player B and yourself.
------
Required services:
The players need:
A turn sending service that can Carbon Copy non-blindly.
Posting the turn in the turn thread does this.
The GMs need:
A turn sending service.
The ability to store back turns.
A turn recieving service with timestamps.
Again, posting the turn in the turn thread does this.
------
In the case of a dispute:
Suppose C complains that a move made in turn 2102 has not carried through to 2103.
First, the GMs check that C has sent them the turn on time.
If not, it is C's error and he should have been penalised.
If so, then open up the turn sent to the GMs by C in 2102, and the next turn sent to the GMs by a player.
The END TURNS are hit until both show C's 2103 turn.
The saves are checked for the error C noted.
If the disparity exists, then turns restart from the start of C's 2102 turn.
If the disparity does not exist, then C is scolded for lying to the GMs.
------
Ok, I guess if my turnspeed will disappoint you, we can always ask for a replacement.

No idea what I'm talking about?
I've phrased it so that even an idiot can understand it.
You lack either the desire or the ability to hear me out.
Yes, I've had my fill of your whining incompetence.
You and I can never be partners, ChairmanSlick.
Gimme the UoP.
My frustration at inability to understand is noted.
My frustration at obstructions to my plans is noted.
That's the key to defeating me... turn my high standards against me.
The main problem is that some idiot is going to jump the gun and play the GM's end turn before the previous player's turn is sent.
Wait for the deadline. If you play on a GM turn before it, there's a good chance that you'll be replaying the entire turn, and instead of losing 6 hours on the deadline, you lose a whole day for the restart.
