Call for voluteers. This is an experimental game. Played in different way than usual SMAC multiplayer games. The purpose is to test possibility to play SMAC this way. Game is played completely in scenario editor. Each faction may have one or more controlling players, and each faction receives a multiplayer game password protected save file in which this particular faction is the only human. This save file is only for purpose of checking current turn state by players. Players are not supposed to advance turns. Engaging other factions in diplomacy will end up in immediate vendeta by AI (AI factions will be tweaked in generated save files!). Diplomacy may be engaged with other factions through emails after they met in game. Turns are advanced by gamemaster. Players are supposed to submitt written orders for the turns, which will include:
- unit movements, attacks and other operations. Orders can be conditional.
- orders for bases: production, hurrying, workers rearrangements etc.
- diplomacy for each specific faction, if any attempted - tech exchanges, treaties, etc.
- calls for planetary council, voting,...
These rules will be probably more precise later, it is an experiment.
