I needed clarification as to what the specifics were for the other custom Faction. Essentially its the Cyborgs, with a -1 Probe and pays no support penalty for produced units (i.e. the Faction can crank out all the units it wants with no mineral penalty). I'd say if it became a +1 Support, then this would be a good replacement Faction to include in the game. FYI.Originally posted by Sankis

I've been trying to explain this... Not that I don't have to pay support... its just I can't have below 0 support... meaning... for instance, if I had a democratic government, and that was all for SE, then my support would still be 0, even though Democracy is supposed to take it down to -2.... But I don't really care if its an immunity to Support, a impunity to Democracy, or a positive support... something along those lines...Comment

1. Take off alien faction (or if u want to stay alien, take off all free techs (being alien gives u 2 anyway)
2. Take off gain free tech w. 2 other discoveries/ free children's creche
3. Use same social benifits/Social preferences as human hive (+1Growth/Industry, -2 Econ, Immune Effc)
My faction has +1Economy/Growth/Industry, and a -2 Morale (I changed it from -3), Social Psych and Free Hologram Theatre once I get P. Nets.
PS. Another custom faction I made is a variation of the hive, which is +2 Industry (extreme serfdom), -2 Growth (mass genocide of dissenters), -2 Research (Mental retardation of workers), and Immunity to Police. Start with industrial base. And free punishment sphere and Genejack factory with discovery of required techs. It's here if it appeals to people to use as well.Comment

Look at the comparison between our factions though.
I get childrens creche, you get hologram theatres so thats growth bonus vs total early drone control, this is even stronger then the virtual world which is considered highly among secret projects
I get +3 industry, you get +1
I get +2 growth you get +1
I get -2 research and -3 economy you get +1 economy and just -2 morale as the only downside !

Hi, I would like to play too as Gaians, if possible
Haven't played SMACX in multiplayer yet and I don't understand many of the rules.
- No free facilities that are not made available by your free technologies (no fusion labs unless fusion power is ur free tech (which it won't be) ???????
-Facton bonus' must add up to +1 (or lower) Which means you can have +5 industry, but you must have -4 in some other area, or 4 -1's, etc.) ??????
-No free techs above level 2. You can only use 1 level 2 tech, or 2 level 1 techs. ??????????!!!!
-No bonus ANYTHING (fungus nutrients, bonus techs, etc. ?????Comment
