  • Save dialog not listing all files?

    For some reason, when I've played my Pbem turn and go to save it, SMAC isn't showing all the files in the save directory. This is causing some annoyance, since I now have to do a bit of trial and error to work out what year it should be.

    I thought at first that maybe SMAC only displays the first however-many files, but I deleted a chunk, and I still have the same problem. The listing stops at DT10-Vultur-2172, and doesn't go any further. This is the PP version of Bog-standard SMAC. Any ideas?

    I presume you can't use the arrows to move down the page? Seems I remember seeing those before.

      they may just be out of order on the list. this occurs sometimes when some save are deleted, and then the remaining ones doing not show in sequence with save mades susequnt to the deletion, ie the older ealier years saves show up below rather than above later year saves.

        Never have had that problem as very early on I added the line to the .ini file that renders the saves, etc in a windows box format rather than the Firaxis dialogue box format.

        The line to add to alphacentauri.ini is:

        WindowsFileBox=1

        Works like a charm
