  • Velociryx' strategy guide

I'm looking for a place to buy it here in Sweden, but it's nowhere to be found, not even at online bookstores. I do not want to order it from any store that require me to give them my credit card number so the majority of U.S. stores are out of the question. I heard from somebody that it's available online in html or pdf-format or whatever, anybody know where? Otherwise I'll have to live without it.

I have an older version (v2 or so) in Word Format. If Vel doesn't object, I will email it to you. Send him a PM, then PM me with a copy of his agreement and your email addy.

Vel has the pre-publication tome on his own website (in episodes)

      Go to:

clik.to is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, clik.to has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

and follow 'discussion forums' then 'Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri', then 'strategy and tactics' and finally ( the 11th thread down) 'The SMAX Guide - version 3.0'

Maybe this reply from Booksurge to me could help you, if you don't want to (or can't) use your credit card
(I don't have one, yes you can live without it outside the US! ).

        Dear Mr ...,

Good afternoon, thanks for getting back to me. The online orders have to be done by credit card, but we also accept checks. The only thing you have to do is to make sure you know the exact amount of your order (including shipping and handling) either by checking online or by calling us: 843-853-8310. Then, we will process your order as soon as we receive your payment by check to:

        Booksurge
        270 King Street
        Charleston SC
        29401

        I hope this helps,

Of course, I would have some worry to send a cheque in paper overseas by air-mail, but they didn't talk about the alternative of a international money transfer made from your bank account to theirs...
