    ;
    ; Chassis
    ;
    ; Names..., Speed, Triad, Range, Cargo, Cost, Preq, ...Large names
    ;
    ; Names...= First two names used for offensive units.
    ; Second two names used for defensive units.
    ; M1 = Masculine Singular (For foreign translations)
    ; M2 = Masculine Plural
    ; (etc. Use F for female, N for neuter)
    ;
    ; Speed = # of moves
    ; Triad = Movement (0=Land 1=Sea 2=Air)
    ; Range = Range in turns from base (air units only)
    ; Missile = Chassis is a "missile" (destroyed after attacking)
    ; Cargo = # units transported (multiply by reactor rating)
    ; Cost = Cost factor of chassis type (normally equal to speed)
    ; Preq = Technology required (see TECHNOLOGY)
    ;

    Notice that it only says that there are four names. However I've noticed two others that are after the preq. The first extra name for each chassis I've seen for most (how do you say "chassis" plural? chassises?), but the second extra name i've never seen before. Anyone know how it is used, and what determines whether or not one of the extra names is used? Here is an example of the chassis section for the gravship chassis. "Deeathsphere" and "Doomwall" are the extra names.

    Gravship,M1, Skybase,M1, Antigrav,M1, Skyfort,M1, 8, 2, 0, 0, 1, 8, Gravity, Deathsphere,M1, Doomwall,M1,

    The two after the pre-req are for ones with maximum Weapons & Armor, in other words both defensive and offensive. I know you get the first two for only a weapon, and the next two for only armor, but I don't know if you need best of both to get the last two, or some lessor combination.

    For example, if you have shard weapons & Proton armor, I don't know if a shard/silksteel design will get the last names or not.

    Chassi? Like cacti maybe?

      Just one thing to add to that - the air units work differently - the Air Superiority units are regarded as defensive, and all ohters attacking.
