Isn't it nice to have a scenario with no tech advances so that each faction have unique technologies?

Why don't you try to design a such sceniaro? Or see if you can persuade someone to do so?

I'd be up for a PBEM in a such scenairo. I'm sure there are others who would be interested also.

Tried it before, very interesting. Emphasizes strength to weak military factions like gaians and morgans, and weakens strong factions like University. Ultimately, the only useful advantages are really support and morale in this scenario. Research, and essentially economy and probe, really are not that powerful.
