Maybe Flubber is right - Ascent to Transcendence. Spawn a few bases, and let two of them start with Voice of Planet. Build lots of 1-1-1 units to accelerate construction and to keep both SPs in pace. The turn after you build VoP, you should be able to transcend.
There might be one problem, however. If someone else has some other SP tech, and also has collected enough Mins to transcend - will he be able to transcend before the builder of VoP or will he be blocked off like the AI is when you rush a SP?
Why doing it the easy way if it is possible to do it complicated?
In MP, the player that builds the Voice has first crack at the Ascent since it is during their turn that the VoP appears. The only problem is that without crawlers or formers, you won't have much mineral capacity and without clean, its tough to stockpile units to cash. I can see it being VERY very tough to have enough stuff around to rush the ascent
