AC Word Game

I propose an Alpha Centauri word game.

The idea is, to string on one concept from the ending letters of the last word.
No word can be repeated, and all concepts must come from either Sid Meier's Alpha Centuari or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

Points are awarded based on the number of letters you 'concatenate':

Gaian
GaiAngels
'Angels' scores two points.
Biogenetics
BiogenetICS
ICS scores 3 points.

Because a lot of stuff in SMAC is pluralised, you can drop the S es.

I'll start with the first word:
