That sort of says it all. I know it's out there, I just cannot find it. Any help for those of us that want SMAX but use the Mac?

I too am interested in SMAC and SMAX for the Mac. Heck, I'll even take classic versions. Are there perhaps patches that allow me to use my PC install disks to get the code (ALA what Quake III did)?
Tried Amazon, Half.com, eBay, even Aspyr directly. This and RRT2 are the only games I miss from my PC days...
BTW, versiontracker has a SMAC carbon patch still downloadable. No such luck on the SMAX patch they show.
Help!

Still looking
Has anyone managed to track down the SMAC for the Mac yet?
The link in the post above points to an update patch for the game, but I cannot find the game itself anywhere. I emailed Aspyr but they said that they have stopped producing it and that my best bet was to look for a second hand copy somewhere.
Very frustrating. If they are not selling it anymore, why not simply put it up on there website for anyone to download? I would happily pay money to download it.
If anyone can indicate where I can either buy or download this from, I'll be really grateful.

For those of you who want SMAC for the Mac, I think Yahoo shopping has it in stock. I don't know how long it will last with Aspyr not making it anymore, but It's worth a look.
I don't know about SMAX. Do a google search for it. Maybe you'll turn up something.Don't rule me out when I'm losing. Save your celebration until after I'm gone.

Bought SMAX from here, cost me US $3.62, they promptly shipped it to me for another US $3.00 Shipping and Handling.
Highly recommended.
As for the Yahoo shopping:
I'll be trying it today! Thanks for the pointer, wgabrie. Google and Amazon had turned up nil for me. Never can remember to look on Yahoo these days...
