    Bugs!!!!

    ARGH! I'm playing a game with my custom faction, the Children of Chiron. I was having a good time, crusing along on an ironman thinker game (thanks Vel, your strat guide helped ALOT).

    I upgrade my normal sea formers to super clean ones, and all of the sudden, instead of upgrading to super clean formers, they upgrade to AAA Missile Destroyers! WTF???

    Also, I took an amusing screenshot of a gaian impact cruiser attacking and destroying... itself! Weapons malfunction, maybe?

        I think that you have to put the image on a website and then use the following syntax-

        replacing { brackets with square brackets

        {img} URL for image {/img}

        replacing { brackets with square brackets.

            Having a fleet of AAA Missile Destroyers appear out of unarmed formers isn't something to sneer at! Go mess someone up!

              Actually, Jasionian, you are right, and this is what angers me. I wiped the board clean of enemy sea bases with my new 'fleet.' I knew I could have built them on my own, but being given them 'free' upset me somewhat.

              However, this bug is nothing compared to what had happened before. I was playing this game, cruising along, had about 50 normal formers. I went to upgrade them all to fungicidal clean formers, and they all upgraded into ALIEN ARTIFACTS!!! It totally ruined my game. Without the formers, I would have to go and rebuild them all, losing all turn advantage I might have had. However, I instead cashed them ALL in, got up to TT 12 or so, and well... won. It was actually very easy to win after this. Either way, my game was ruined

              Is anyone else having this 'upgrades into something weird' bug?

                Yes it has happened to others (myself included) as far as I can tell it is not a common bug and I could not find a definate defined trigger, but as you have seen it does pop up. It was on the bug list that was sent to Firaxis with a saved game example. If that means anything is still up in the air but they do have it documented.
