Capture other leaders
I just noticed that the SMACX v2 readme says that eliminated faction leaders may now be liberated -- or something very close to that. I remember in Civ 1 and 2 when there were less than 7 civilizations and you took the capital of a large empire, it would have a "civil war" and split in two. I tried this in SMAC using cheat mode, but to no avail. Does it work?

Sparky: You capture a faction leader when you eradicate his\hers faction. They can be later liberated (their faction appears on the map as a base and several units) by probing the conquerors capital.
As for the Civil War thing: no, it doesn't work that way.
