Savegame's compatibility

I have a french version of SMAC and I would like to know if the savegames are compatible between the differents language's versions ?
Does someone know it ? Or even someone could post an english savegame to make a test ?

i think this is my current SP game. if it is, it'll be on planet map on the center continent.

Doesnt work for me either. Im using SMAC(no expansion) english version 4.0.

TKG, you must have an older version.
Can someone post me a savegame from the english version 4.0 please ?
