i usually aim for transcendance, but if i get bored with the current game, i go for a quick ending diplomatically or by conquest. diplomatic is such an unsatisfying victory though. i never really feel like i worked for it.

I rotate how I win. If I feel like I need to aquire victory by conquest then I'll do it. I also get bored but I don't end it with victory I end it by quiting and never comming back to the game. I also think that diplomatic victory is too easy and not worked for. I prefer Trancendence or Conquest. Conquest is much more of a challenge.

Conquest is the way for me.
Though if I'm getting too bored with a game, I'll try one of the diplomatic avenues for victory.

, it's conquest. Otherwise, I try for transcendence. Typically, in the late game, I have enough population and energy to do whatever I damn well please.
Sometimes, I might try for several modes of victory simultaneously (i.e. timing economic and transcendence victory so they happen on the same turn). Never tried for all four simultaneously, though (IMHO, conquest/econ/transcendence can be done, but I can't figure out how to fit diplo in there. Maybe the turn after?).Comment

Usually I try for transcendence, but if I get bored I will just go for diplomatic victory after getting all the secret projects I can for the score. I try to win most often by Transcendence. If I get bored in the middle of the game, I will more often quit than vote myself in for Supreme Leader. But I agree that Supreme Leader is infinitely preferable to conquest, which I have only done twice -- it gives more points, and all you need is 2/3 the population (or 5/6 if Lal's the other 1/3).
Then again, conquest is available from the get-go, and for an ultra-quick win it's the only ballgame.Adam T. GieselerComment
