  • Base obliteration

Here's a short question about Base Obliteration (some sub-questions actually):
In what conditions can I obliterate bases?
Can I obliterate bases that belong to the enemy, or just conquer and *then* obliterate?
How does obliteration afect my reputation, besides being an atrocity? I mean: is obliteration a crime against my faction (if I own the base), or is it an offence to the faction I have just conquered the base from?

    Thanx!

    1) You can obliterate any base as long as you control it and you have a unit w/ some movement left in it.

    2) You may obliterate any base you own, including ones you captured from an enemy, and you can do so any time.

    3) If you destroy your own base, there is no internal backlash, but destroyijng another faction's base causes them to hate you forever.

Wait for sunspot activity and obliterate at will WITH impunity !!!
This is what it means to be a Spartan. It's not the killing or the suffering that matters. It's the purity of focus, without fear of death or pain.

I once did that on a Believers base I conquered. Once the Sunspot activity ended, Miriam then discovered what I had done. Though doing it during Sunspot prevents third party factions from finding out, the faction affected will still hate you forever, but has to wait until the end of sunspot activity to tell you that.
