I was having a really odd game on SMAX about an hour ago, which I have since given up as a bad job. During a Vendetta with Santiago, one of her Gatling Infantry units moved two squares, then attacked two of my units in succession, without even taking any hasty penalty! I knew she was good, but I didn't know she was THAT good! Is this a bug or what?
I gave it up in the end - she was just way too powerful. But I'd still like to know.

? Elite units do have one more move. So reading your post, I assume the first move was on a road or fungus with the Xenodome. If it was a tube, no movement points were taken. This would leave 1 1/3 movement points left. The first attack would be without a reduction for "hasty." But the second?

Was she moving on a tube?

Did her unit have grav struts.? This gives one more movement point.

A commando morale level unit on a road could move up and do a hasty attack with its first movement point. If it were promoted to Elite as a result of the first combat, it would then get a second movement point and could attack again. Did you notice if the first attack was "hasty"?

No grav struts, no tube. I checked. Her units were Elite to start with, but there wasn't a Hasty penalty in sight. Not one. Weird!
