    Mostly, you can't, but sometimes the volcano is generated with a 'rolling' crater instead of a 'rocky' one, which allows you to build on it.

      A base on top of volcano? I guess that base will get a significant energy modifier but also -3 growth and a huge amount of drones ("what the hell, I am not gonna live on top of the volcano").

        Yeah, Geomodder, I know it is. I have Crossfire as well as every freaking patch there is. But still, until I figured out the Voxel Algorithm thing, I had to deal with Planet Buster bombing in on my interior on a huge planet, which is just not fair. Some bugs, though, apparently aren't fixed, although I have never actually exploited them. Is that true?


        And...

        Do those patches even really work? I'm not doubting the hard work of Firaxis, but, they had those bugs in their in the first place, perhaps they screwed up on the patches.
