HOFs dead?

I've submitted entries to the Halls of Fame (HOFs) a long time ago, and heard nothing from it, but I just figured, oh well, the moderators are really busy. However, on some other post somewhere, somebody else made a comment about how inactive the Halls Of Fame are, which got me wondering... are they officially dead? That'd be too bad, but I'd understand. Are there Halls of Fame anywhere else, or only the more informal Challenges that pop up on the Forums from time to time?

MarkG responded to me after I sent a saved game in, because I forgot to include something. So I thought he was still running it, but that was months ago.

Helium Pond, what was you file for? Mine was to be highest score for planetary conquest (transcendant of course). I don't know if there are any other HoF sites. I thought of starting one, but I don't have the time. It would be good thing for an ambitious person.

I sent in a batch of Spartan save games, one for each difficulty level, each of which bested the top score in the "Earliest Win" category.

I don't play single player any more, but when I did I'm pretty sure I had bested over 90% of the records in the hall of fame. I even submitted a few, but nothing happened. To my knowledge the HoF has been dead since before I even knew about Apolyton.

Has anyone submitted a file for the downloads section recently? I submitted a faction a few weeks ago, and haven't heard or seen anything

we are terribly behind in hof and file updates due to having to take care of the other sections as well...

keep sending saved games and files, they will be published. eventually....
