That's the reason for me.

PTWDG2 completely degraded to a simple PBEM a while before CIV. The activity here (in the ACDG) is pretty good in comparison, even now.

Which is why I don't understand people still insist on having lots of teams in a C4DG. The number of teams in ACDG3 was consciously limited to 4 (coming from 5), yet still activity has dropped.
