    Suggested Build Orders
    • Arcadia University - A hab complex. Base will be size 7 in 2175, with 4 drones quelled by the holotheater and rec commons, and another 4 by the police garrison, so can grow to size 8 without resorting to specialists
    • Argos - not applicable (crawler in production)
    • Fort Buster - same
    • Fort Liberty - Crypteia can be rushed there
    • Fort Superiority - another crawler (accumulate them for MM'ing a Hybrid forest there)
    • Gythium Harbour - a Creche (it'll popboom to 7 easily with that lush farmland to its east and northeast)
    • Iaci Base - n/a
    • Ironholm - a creche - there are a couple of rainy tiles will help growth without farms while a tree farm eventually gets constructed there
    • Messena - a crawler (two farms are being constructed to its east, just crying out for crawling, to let the workers redeploy to forests to be built on its coast)
    • Minas Tirith - n/a as no minerals
    • Olympus Academy - n/a as rec commons is being constructed there and is a handful of turns away from completion)
    • Rio Grande - a former (lots of undeveloped land to our northwest)
    • Santiago Citadel - n/a (crawler in construction)
    • Sector CraterSouth - n/a (no minerals)
    • Sector CraterWest - ditto
    • Sparta Command - ditto
    • Tegea Harbour - n/a (crawler in production)
    • Two Nuts strand - n/a (former in construction)
    • Vladivostok - Rec commons (it'll shoot up in population after the condensor gets built, so will need a drone-quelling facility to expand beyond size 4)

Build list fully approved by tthe ministry of infrastructure.

    Question about the Maniac Manoeuver.
I can't execute it in single player (SMAX).
From what I thought, it should be
    1) Put a prototype (the more expensive the better) in the build order
    2) Bring a crawler and hurry the prototype like you'd do with a SP
    3) Change to facility without losing minerals

But 2) doesn't work. I get "Your crawler arrived at city X. Do you want to continue moving, start convoying..." but no way to hurry a prototype.
    So, what did I forget?
From hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee. Ye damned whale!

Looks good. From my builder's point of view, I mean.
      Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Last time I used it I moved the crawler into the base then hit the "O" key, and got the option of applying it to the prototype.

And don't forget step two and a half - retire the proto design - which converts the minerals to stockpiled energy - before switching to the facility, when the stored energy gets reconverted into minerals

I don't know, a hab complex costs 3 energy for upkeep and a lot of minerals to build, so I would propose postponing hab complex construction at that base until later. Right now, if it's only going to give us 1 extra citizen, is it a good idea? If we could get a greater number of citizens out of it, I think it would be worth it, but in the meantime we could build more crawlers. Meanwhile, we can harvest extra minerals with the crawlers, and when we want the hab complex built, we just cash in the crawlers for an instabuild.

            Early couple of moves:

Sent the Njord north to deal with that mindworm but encountered a Morgan foilprobe outside the PK base, so repositioned the Njord back in ther bay.

Destroyed the mindworm with the General Tacticus instead

            here's the situation map

Moved the Invasion force and escort into its 2175 position,

Shunted the Iaci around in the fungus west of the base, and then then tried to enter the southern fungus with the Invincible.

Scared up an IoD. Do we attack? (the odds aren't very good - 1.23*6 against .87*10)

(We can also take out that IoD with a B-4 from Iaci Base)

Uhm, no point risking good units, methinks.

It gives two, the second one being a specialist, or even three, the third one being the guy quelling the second one. Also, it allows the base to grow the instant it gets food + happiness, without waiting for the Hab Complex. So I would say it is worth it.

                  Some Air force moves
                  • moved the B-4's running CAP on the main and secondary invasion fleets back to Minas Tirith.
                  • deployed another B-4 to CAP the seconmdary force as it moves on through Styx (now between fellowship City and Laborers Throng)
                  • B-6 en route to Iaci lands in base. Arcadian Airforce now numbers 2 B-4's and 2 B-6's
                  • B-6 crossing the Northern Arcadian Ocean lands in Fort Soup, en route to Iaci base

Ah, okay, if the hab complex will give us multiple citizens, then it's worth it.

Actually, wouldn't the odds for the IOD attack be 4:3, because 1 out of every 4 attacks we would capture that IOD?

I ran it through my combat simulator, looks like we win about 45% of the time, which is far too few to risk an attack. We should use a B-4 instead. It will be less useful damaged in the invasion but it can still serve to eliminate rovers or block probe teams.

                        MY-2175 ….. cont
                        • IoD by the Invincible destroyed by the hardened B-4 from Iaci – took 60% damage, but got morale boost to veteran
                        • Sent MT’s B-4 on a leisurely southern route ½ way to Iaci base to confirm that Yang’s troops are pulled back from the border (they are)
                        • Moved a Messena worker off a 1-1-0 tile o a 2-0-0 tile, and will now grow to size 6 next turn (rec commons and 2 police take care of drones)
                        • deployed GH’s crawler to the new farm to the east of the base, crawling 3 nuts
                        • Set the Tomcat gang at GH ‘s new farm tile to building a condenser – and set GH production to a Crèche (also inadvertently upgraded 2 Hoplites to CDF’s – we’ll need them eventually but not until the crèche is built)
                        • Moved an Iaci worker off a 1/2/1 forest to a 2/1/1 rainy river tile as the Crypteia there is complete without that extra mineral
                        • RG’s new crawler deployed to the mine to the northeast. Put another crawler (3 turns) into production. It’ll complete and be able to crawl nuts before the food box exhausts
                        • Loaded up the Mercury-class transport at Argos with 2 Crypteia, the Skanky Sileni, and the Impact Infantryman, and sent it south as part of the PK expeditionary force.
                        Build Orders
Executed all the agreed-upon build orders except for Rio Grande where I put a crawler into production rather than a former, to get the nutrient flow going again

Sold him it, plus Cyberethics for 25 ec's and Adaptive doc for another 25 ec's.

Sold Doc: Init to Zak for 25 ec's

Reserves now stand at 640 credits - what do we want to do with all that cash?

Shall we offer Doc: Init to the Gaians for NG?

I see the Angels now have MMI and have started the Cyborg Factory. Didn't we extract an agreement from them not to build that?

Ah, no. That was part of a trade that didn't go through.
