    Didn't unzip the turn yet, just downloaded and uploaded it here.

    If I understand the rules correctly I can look at the current situation, give comments, but not do any moves?

    I'm just asking so I don't do anything against the rules...

    As this is the first turn of this game I ever opened, I've been busy looking around a bit.

    First remarks: there are some obsolete units in the design workshop (we don't have such units active or in production, and their cost is equal to that of superior units) :
    impact squad => missile squad
    synth metal garison, trance synth metal garison => trance plasma sentinels
    synth metal coastal => plasma hoverboat
    impact foil => missile skimship

    An other strange thing : we have 2 units called "def attorney (synth)", although one of them has plasma armor instead of synth armor.


    After this, I checked out the war with the Hive in the south of our country:
    *) Yang has 1 plane unit active, it's near our land, and within striking distance of our missile tactical in Micha Archives. I'm not sure if this attack would generate pacifism-drones.
    *) The only other unit he has in our territory (a synth metal defended infantry standing next to "choke on this") should be easy to be taken out by our missile squad in that base.
    *) Next turn he'll have 2 new planes, but they can't reach us in 1 turn.
    *) Manufacturing Warrens has a lot of rovers (conventional + artillery) stacked up that can reach Morgan Construction in 3 turns. I don't know if missile tacticals are the right defense against those.


    Oh, there was a diplo-message from the Data Angels too, offering us 3 techs + world map in return for a pact.

      Strange, the angesl didn't seem to be open to a pact, unless i missed something HUGE. Someone shuld PM geo

        Well done, PJayTycy - only the turnplayer makes moves.

        I am currently pressed for time in RL - so it would be great if someone could fill in for me as turnplayer for this turn. Any candidates?

        Mead, did you get a PM from Geo? I would PM Geo but I won't be online for quite a few hours - the next person reading this may feel free to PM him and post here immediately so that Geo gets only one PM.

        Turnplayer, be sure to send a Truce and 98 ec to Sparta.

          About that message from the Angels : They didn't approve it themself for some reason. Maybe they expect something else from us ?

                The 3 techs they can offer us are:
                => Intellecutal Integrity (E3)
                => Neural Grafting (C4)
                => Adaptive Doctrine (C3)

                  Because we are over time yet and apparently no one has played the turn yet, I'll do it for once.

                    A summary of this turn:

                    => A pod in the north of our territory that was popped by a scout with orders. He popped a mindworm and was defeated in the battle afterwards. The mindworm is still around there.

                    => I answered the Data Angels with an offer of our world map, no techs, no energy and approved it, just in case they change their mind about a pact.

                    => Sent the 98ec's + truce to Sparta

                    => Took out the Hive-plane with a missile tactical. This produced 2 pacifism-drones, but the base will not riot.

                    => Took out a Hive infantry unit next to "choke on this"

                    => Spotted a Hive colony pod close to our bases, sadly I had already moved all planes within reach before that, so I couldn't take it out.

                    => Moved the probe foil towards the Hive territory (it's now inside our south-most base)

                    => 2 of 3 bases got the order to produce a crawler (because there was a really good tile to work on available)

                    => The other 2 or 3 that needed new orders got the orders to produce a missile tactical.

                    => I didn't bother to change the design workshop like I stated above or rearrange the worked-on tiles, because of the time-pressure.

                    => A lot of our bases have the -no minerals- warning, so they don't produce anything, but still they are ordered to build a missile tactical. I didn't know an easy way to change that, so I left those like they were.

                    => I didn't hurry anything because I don't think we really need all those missile tacticals in our inner-territory.


                    I hope no serious damage is done to our faction by these orders. I hereby also state I'd rather not play the next turn. Maybe, instead of 1 turn player, we could also assign a backup-players so situations like this don't happen anymore.

                      Another reason why somebody else should play the turns : I somehow messed up and the game skipped the Spartans. I had to re-play it.

                      I tried my best to replay the exact same movements, but it's not completely the same : the pod-popping now gave us an alien artifact instead of an alien mindworm...
