Killed a worm with a rover. Will move a scout northeast to pop another pod - hopefully not more worms...

Yang didn't get D:AP this turn because of drone riots. Doesn't matter, because our Gator was killed by a Spartan Coast Guard. We will get Yang infiltration in hopefully 2-3 turns with a wheeled Prosecutor on a Transport Foil.

Four more units lost - Impaler Polymers doesn't have to support six formers anymore and is back to a totally decent mineral output.

Impaler Polymers will switch to a Net Node to get a new tech next turn from the artifact. I wouldn't wait for D:AP because... perhaps the new tech will be airpower and we can keep the peace with Yang.

I will move the SE sliders back to "normal" for one turn - so that it looks that the peace initiatives are responsible for us switching our labs back on and building a network node - and hopefully they won't notice that the 'node will be built solely for getting a tech from the artifact...

Otherwise... 312 credits to invest wisely.

I wonder what we are gonna do with our Gators. Moving west would take time but the eastern waters seem to be patrolled very well by air and sea.

Perhaps our diplomats should aim for a cease-fire as a sign of goodwill and honesty from them before anything else. Two turns without any unit lost would help greatly at the moment...

good move, I'd prefer not to be at war with Yang.

And on a further note about Spartan Negotiations: 2 possibilities, either they can't keep hammering us and still win, in which case a ceasefire is worth nothing to us since they will win if we take it. Or they can keep this up and still win against the others, in which case taking it only delays the inevitable.

I prefer a third option: they think they can't keep hammering us and still win - but lose in the end

yea, it would be nice not to be the sacraficial lamb here, but I don't really see them losing considering their position without us firmly in the fight. I don't see them losing with us in it at the moment, but what the hell.

anyway if the others hound sparta enough their attacks should let up, then we'll see.

I don't want war with the Hive either, lets use that artifact if need be.

Okay, NetNode will be built and SE settings is changed for one turn - hopefully it masks the suspiciousness of the sudden and expensive 'node build a little bit.

I didn't start too many non-red builds though. It could make us look weaker than we are as if we were totally focusing on building again so that they feel obliged to start their invasion... I'm not sure whether one or two RecTanks instead of Recon Rovers would make the "masking" more perfect or worse...

I will redeploy formers and crawlers more towards the "heart" of our territory - hopefully out of reach from noodles from either side.

Choke will get a CC next turn so that any units defending against the Hive can heal quickly in one turn.

Any more suggestions? Otherwise, this will be posted tomorrow.
