Nothing spectacular so far, one former lost at Mount Planet in the east, Argi Naria defender lost in the west (!) from noodles. Hive gets D:AP next turn, 250 ecs should be good to invest, I'm seriously thinking about following up on peace initiatives since Geo obviously doesn't want D:AP, Gaia will get SFF this turn and I will get some sleep now...

After turnplay... tried to pop a pod but ended up with a worm.
A few bases are ready next turn to start building jets - Impaler Polymers will switch to a net node next turn - because the Artifact will arrive then. Let's home for some useful tech like... Doctrine: Initiative, Adaptive Doctrine or Advanced Subatomic Theory.
Still waiting for diplomatic response from Gaia.Attached Files

Okay, as for the turn, I won't be able to play it until this evening, however, I have browsed it. What's our strategy from this point forward?
And as I am new to all this, to whom do I send my turn or how do we report what we would have done or would like to do?

K I am a little lost as to our strategy, so here's what I mostly did, I left a lot of units unmoved since I am not sure where you would like to go. Not sure about what Yang's intentions are right now. I ended up upping the energy a bit and some of the city's had citizens not working even though they were not drones.
We seem to be lacking base facilities...on stockpile energy recycle tanks pay for themselves in a decent number of turns and are a boon when actually building things of course you know that but I am curious why we haven't built any. A children's creche in our cities more prone to noodle problems along with a perimeter defence and (3) armour should go a long way towards starting to mount a defence. Of course you have probably thought about that.
Vander Eudaimonics started citizen working forest energy bonus square
Changed impaler polymers to net node now
Upgraded Red Fungus missile squad at monolith
changed citizen at morgan robotics to work mine instead of bare mount planet tile, worked out to be 1 more energy per turn income.
Put citizen at Morgan Transport to work the river square
Changed citizen at Morgan Vulcanology to work forest nutrient tile from moist rolling
Changed citizen at Vander Eudaimonics to work Monolith
Changed citizen at whohabitat to work forest
City of zzt infantry to monolith
Until I know more about which strategy we are adopting that's about it.
I did start moving some formers to develop the north, moving a couple rovers to take the pod as I always like two units, especially if they have low morale to be at the pod pop.
I have attached the turn as I left it. Please redistribute the citizens, it ups net income and mineral production without detracting in any way from the happiness of our citizens.Attached Files

Well, I guess a short read of the rules and the past turnplaying threads wouldn't have hurt.
One important thing, there is one turnplayer who actually makes the moves and all the other people give input.
Rules: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=117098
Turnplay threads:
One per year, just browse the forum.
Diplomacy:
One per faction, just browse the forum.
Other:
The "Directory of Important Things" at the top contains - among several outdated links - useful information how we tried to organize ourselves.

And you read this thread, too? There is a "midturn" save attached to one of my postings above which shows everything what is done. I will try the best I can if I don't get other input.
And again, noone makes actual moves in game but the turnplayer - otherwise it is parallel turnplaying and will be dealed with by the game moderators!
Sorry if I sound harsh, but please read the rules again, see how we play turns and adhere to these standards, if you want to continue here.
If you wanna start to discuss changes however, there is a thread called "Corporation Reorganization" - feel free to contribute there as well.

This is taken from the ACDG3 Rules thread
...It is also allowed to use parallel turns of the official game to test out AI diplomacy (with the exception that you can't accept AI world map offers or trades) or some innocent internal affairs orders (crawler & former movements etc). However it is NOT allowed to use the official game turns to play ahead by eg testing out battle orders, scouting with units, or for example moving your probe units to check the probe cost of something and only then decide whether or not you're going to probe it.
In clarification:
Any exploring, military trials or probe actions, is not allowed. Testing former orders and AI diplomacy (without accepting any deal) is allowed. For anything else, check with Drogue before hand.
I had read it and did not do anything contrary to these rules.
It will be nice for you to have some interceptors up

Well... if you move formers or crawlers and the turnplayer in hirs turn doesn't make the same moves (e.g. because he doesn't know about them), your moves won't be transferred into the real game.
ACDG is about discussion and communication - unfortunately you joined at a time where this is less obvious than in the beginning.
Current strategy is about to get up defenses and survice as long as possible against the Spartans. Of course RecTanks etc. are beneficial but currently we need each turn to make as much "red" units as possible.
