Some new terrain uncovered to the southeast...

Note the red base outline near the Hunter... probably a Spartan port.

      Shame about the Gator Boat.

I don't think that the other boat will last the turn unless there is another unit next to it in the fungus.

I am happy that you offered the treaty. Any deals that occur now will result in them placing thier offer (tech) in the diplo box (pre-approved, yes?) befor we reciprocate. this should mean that they can't cheat us. Good.

We should be mindful that the Spartans should begin their invasion now. They ought to be killing us now (within the next 5 turns), while they still have a good chance. If they are not after us they should be after the Hive big time to gain mass. We should be ready for an invasion soon.

We should be mindful that Sparta may place another probe in the sole probe undefended Uni base before we can get our probes back there. It is likly that the probe will be of high morale.

We should try to seek out the Gaians. Don't let DA know we have not made contact (they might not know).

I agree with AndiD, we need more crawlers.

I think we might be splitting our efforts on too many fronts, with crawlers, formers, probes, Cp's, etc. Now that we'll have Plasma armor prototyped, I think we really need two rounds of Plasma Garrisons. The Spartans are probably building an army, and not just to invade a couple cities and proceed from there-- the wise thing, with infiltration, knowing we aren't building defenses, would be to build an enormous army that more or less could wipe us out in one turn.

We need defense more than we need formers. My thought is to rehome all our min crawlers to a size 1 base (and starve it to keep it that way - so HGP will keep the drones at bay). Then, build the best shells we can, rehoming to this base (which will be able to support with its min production (watch out for the >pop< though) and get our defense going. Our formers should be making some sensors too, I think, placing them under crawlers so they can't be arty sniped off.

Erm, the downside of this is if the Spartans invade, they will take on the crawlers first, killing our entire army. Also, if the base you´re speaking of falls, all units will be rehomed to the next city, most probably exceeding its support ability...

Maybe we should stick to sevral plasma probes for the beginning, preferably rovers, if we can afford them.

no it isn't, had he popped the plasma rover supply we'd have still gotten the armor unfortunately.

indeed the spartans have infiltration, so if they see that all our troops AND crawlers are homed in that city, that city will become a main target, Better to spread it off, as long we are defending, no drones will apear.

Plasma probes are very expensive. The cheaper, the better, IMO, for right now.
