Cash on Hand 67 (owe 13 to Sparta) = 54 available

    LABS
    Adaptive Economics
Every 5 years, 3 years to go.

Tech Cost 276, Accum 174, Per turn 60

After we establish the new bases, our Labs per turn should increase about 16-20 per turn.

Net Income 64 (prior to stockpile bug and share to Sparta). After we establish the new bases, our income should increase.

    Income from Commerce 10
We owe Sparta 5 for Profit sharing and 8 for tech purchase (total 13) this turn.

    Military Situation
I can't see any non Morgn unit. There are no native life forms in sight (other than the fungul tower that isn't moving anytime soon).

    Military Suggestions

We lost two battles (the new synth rover at the monolith near RFR, and the scout in the east). There may still be a mindworm near RFR. We don't know how strong it is.

Keep our southern probe parked in the fungus to guard the southern approach.

    Other thoughts observations:

    1. I thought we were going to build one base on the southern road (on top of the new sensor) after building a sensor on the road and send the other southern CP through the fungus where our armoured probe unit is to establish a base on the chokepoint? What are we doing?

    2. The synth rover near RFR near RFR must have been attacked by two mindworms. Where are they coming from? Will they just pop out of the nearby fungus?

    3. Is the northern CP going to move one more square and establish a base on the coast or will it create a base where it is?

    4. Once we meet an AI faction it might demand Ethical Calculus. If so, what do we do? I hope it doesn't, but if it does we may need to renegotiate with Sparta.

    Possible Rushes this Turn
Again, there's a lot of them. We have 54 available ECs after paying Sparta. How many do we want to spend and how many do we want to rush?

We need to send 13 ECs to Sparta to honor the treaty and installment purchase.

    CCC (3) Probe 41-12 (12 min)=29

    Impaler Poly (2) SC 34-14 (7 min)=20

Mead Metal (3) SC 34-12 (6 min)=22 [20 if we establish a base this turn with the CP it now supports]

    Morgan Ind (2) SC 28-16 (8 min)=12

    SSR (2) - SC 13 - 8 (4 min) = 5

I am attaching the saved turn I downloaded.

I rushed nothing and moved nothing.

The Data Angels completed Virtual World this turn. The only ones we should have any worry over building the PEG before us should be the Gaians.

University started to build the ME.
Hive is still building the Command Nexus.

      We have some problems.

      1) Mind worm in the fungus right next to RFR. A former is doing emergency garrison duty at Micha Archives (formerly Whohabitat-- a new city on the coast is the new Whohabitat). The MW will almost certainly take out our probe defender at RFR next turn. Luckily, RFR is finishing a rover this turn, and I moved a rover to the vicinity from Mussels for reinforcement.

      2) Cash reserves. We need to pay the Spartans 13 ec. We need 40 ec to switch to Demo. We need 19 ec to rush the SC at Imp Pol and 11 at Mor Ind. We could delay Demo for a turn, but we'd have to go with 50% psych. Our income goes down to 34/turn, but we still finish Adap Econ in two turns. With stockpile, we still wouldn't have enough money to go Demo and pay the Spartans in 2149. Should we let some cities riot for one turn?

On a somewhat better note, we made contact with Zak. I didn't know we would until after I moved the probe onto the land, so I couldn't have anyone test out the diplo. He demanded Prog Psych or else. I gave it to him, to prevent Vendetta. This way, we still have a chance of infiltrating next turn. Otherwise, he would've surely killed our probe. He also turned down my request for a tech trade, and signed out before I could offer a treaty.

Congrats on making contact so soon!

We finally meet a friendly AI only to find out it's not friendly. How dare they reject our fair trade deal! This is most disturbing...

Fortunately they have a -2 probe rating putting mind control at only half price.

Will we still have enough EC to rush the crawlers next turn that we will need to build the PEG the following turn?

I want to look at this turn.

Yes, please do look at the mid-turn save above. The switch to Demo was not actually in the budget calculations, so I could use some suggestions.

My apologies for the omission. I've submitted my turnplayer resignation letter, effective 2150. (I was going to turn it over anyway, but this is a good roleplaying excuse. )

Looked at the save, I hope you can finish it jt, since I'm off to bed pretty soon...

I say leave psych as it is, and add doctors for one turn at all the cities that would riot. We lose 2 mins at three already developed bases, meaning that Impaler polymers and RFR both need more money to complete production next turn. ImpPoly costs 21 ec, and RFR 3 ec. City of ZZT loses some mins towards the next production, but still produces it's former this turn.

Three of the new cities starve down to size 2. Not a major thing, but an annoyance all the same. However, that's still one more pop than if we didn't have the PTS.

Also note that Yoda Soda and the new Whohabitat (The old one is now Micha Archives) both need defense attorneys asap.

Edit: I'm away from 2nd - 13th or 14 december, so we will need a different turn player for that time. I may still have internet access for that period though.

Isn't rioting for one turn (provided there is a military unit in the base - probes and formers don't count) better than letting the base starve one down? (Didn't look at the turn...)

I'll finish the turn in about four hours. For the bases that won't starve, I'll use doctors. Besides that, I'm with AndiD, that a turn of rioting is better than starving.

With all these bases and PTS, we're not doing too shabby, even with the hiccups this turn.

We should have plenty of money next turn for the switch to Demo, thanks to the additional bases and sticking with 20% psych.

The crawler just SW of Mor Ind will need to move three squares toward SSR next turn. So will the new crawlers out of Mor Ind and Imp Pol. The one out of SSR can go two moves south for one turn. SSR can produce whatever for one turn... we'll switch it to PEG only during 2150 when we shuttle all the crawlers (including the rover crawler west of Mor Ind) to SSR to insta-build our third SP.

Mor Ind could put a worker back on the rainy river. Some other workers will need to shuffle around, due to the crawlers and to Demo freeing up doctors.

We need to prioritize some unit construction. We need more defenders because the worms are popping up out of nowhere like I've never seen. Probably every base with any fungus next to it needs at least a scout, if not a synth attorney. We need to replace the attorney we're almost certainly going to lose at RFR. We need nine more CP's (not including the one already started at Mussels) to round out our 27-base, 3rd b-limit scenario. We may need Rec Com's everywhere, too, when we pass the 2nd b-limit of Demo. We need more formers for roads to those new sites, as well as forests for those new workers and eventually mines. After all that, we can go with more crawlers. We also need Mussels to build a gunship or two.
