Alright, you´ll have your province, man!
Though it might not be the Mt.Drogue one, but how about the Northernmost province?

    arginine:
Ah, I see. Forgive me, I´m not too used to Business English... I like that idea, especially "White Snow Estates"
If you could come up with more names like these, we could soon begin writing the first articles for the MorganLink magazine...

Nah, you're quite right about this greedy old businessman. Profit's baby yeah!

However, since Morgan Aerospace has become my home town, I thought I should say something about it...

      [Future's Holding]
      Area: 35 tile units (9 fungus / 25.7%)
      (equalling 2,187,500 km² / 844,983 sqm)
      Population: 50,000
      Population density: 1,428 / tu
      Bases:
      • Mead Metal (capital, pop 20,000)
      • Chaunk Curry Co. (pop 30,000)

Mead Metal, a small base built on the banks of the Sweet Leisure River in 2138, provides the best of nature´s beauty without lacking the man-made luxuries no real Morganite would want to miss. Situated in a lush valley, not far from the northern ocean, with the impressive Sherwood Ridge to the south, it is often called the “jewel of the north”; with justification!

For the more aspirationally minded among you, how about a holiday home with our good CEO? Chaunk Curry Co may sound like a manurfacturing centre, but nothing could be further from the truth. Home from home to many of the companies biggest names, CCC has made itself famous for it's easy-going people, picturesque surroundings and, most of all, it's promise to satisfy everyone's desire.

Or perhaps you could rent a rover and pay a visit to the majestic slopes of the Sherwood Ridge. Only two hours south of Mead Metal you can climb the “Virgin´s Peak”, rising 2354 meters (7700 feet) into the blue sky. At this time, the region is more of an insiders tip, with little tourism and almost no infrastructure outside the bases. So if you´re looking for a place to relax from the boureau, you´ll find your dreams come true in Future's Holding!

          Eudaimonic Shore Properties
          Population: 20,000
          AREA: 18 TUs
          Fungus: 5 TUs
Pop Density: ~1,111 pop / TU

Mount Drogue meets the Buster Ocean here, and where they meet are some of the finest beaches the Corporation Owns. The deep waters make for great waves, making the coast favorite for many surfers whom are fond of deducting for their many hours of surveying potential coastal developments.

The deep waters also provide a natural port. Vander Eudomics is the major shipping ports for trade with the Spartan Federation with an already large 10 EC per anum. A few investors plan to build more bases to turn Eudaimonic Shore Properties into a major builder of ships.

The deep water combined with the 2 of 3 nutrient rich tiles make Vander Eudiamonics the largest producer of seafood in the Corporation.

I have added our borde to the Hive, as it is visible in the latest savegame (I haven´t seen it before... )
That makes us lose three tiles... When will the next southern base be built?

                Red Fungus River Delta.

Originally named for the large amounts of fungus that infest the area, former crews are slowly but surely beating back the repugnant fungus to make way for beautiful forest complete with Xenodeer!

                Morgan Collections
                Population: 30,000
Morgan Collections is a newly founded city complete with the latest in luxury from the new ScorpioCorpTM XenoPillow 5 Plus to access to the recently built Planetary Transit System which can ferry Morganites to any one of our fine cities, in luxury of course. Contruction of formers is underway to make the coveted forests.

                Red Fungus Resort
                Population: 30,000
Red Fungus Resort is the first coastal Morgan base. Its name comes from its large ocean side resorts and the large amounts of fungus that still plague the area with occasional mind worms. The local scientist-chefs have made a delecacy from Isle of the Deep, which after undergoing much protein editing has a spicy taste unique to Red Fungus Resort. The ocean fungus makes Red Fungus Resort not suited as a shipping center, losing out to Vander Eudianomics in recent years.

                Micha Archives
                Population: 30, 000
Rumor has it that there was a left over colony pod. When asked what to do with it, a VP said "let's stick it some place where there is no other city. Micha Archives was thus born. Despite its humble beginning and existence, the residents and forming crews have turned this wasteland into a profitable locale, bringing in over 10 energy per turn. Micha Archives shows more than anywhere in the Corporation that the entreprenureal zeal come overcome bad obsticles. In recent years become home to the Micha Cartographics and its extensive collection of cartographic data from our legal explorers, our soldiers in the field in hopes of returning profitable mindworm husks to our observer on the SS Hunter.

                  Thanks arginine!

Added this to the "Guide". Now all that´s left is finding a name for the Western province and getting a few descriptions. Then we can start on enrichening the work, with an occasional publishing in the MorganLink Magazine

If anyone could propose names for the newly discovered lands of Sparta and Uni?
We could ask Sparta in the embassy how they call that bit we discovered, although I´m not sure whether we want to disclose the fact we´re scouting them...

We could make a request thoughly vague and just for interests sake. Something like:

"Several Morganites are looking for holiday homes, and as part of our service industry, I thought it might be good to look at homes away from Morganic territory. Could you provide us with some background data on some of your territory in a pamphlet style. This is one for a section of our own territory:

                    [Central Estates]
                    Area: 17 tile units (3 fungus / 17.6%)
                    (equalling 1,062,500 km² / 410,420 sqm)
                    Population: 60,000
                    Population density: 3,529 / tu
                    Bases:
                    • Morgan Industries (capital, pop 30,000)
                    • Impaler Polymers (pop 30,000)

The oldest, and most developed area of Morgan Industries is also the heartland with the capital. With the Greed River cutting through its center, dividing this province into two parts and offering a wealth of energy: the exploitation of this resource was crucial to the success of Morgan Industries in the early years. It is also the most densely populated area of the Morgan territories.

Both cities, the magnificant capital Morgan Industries (also the first founded base) and the only slightly lesser impressive Impaler Polymers are major players in both the economics and academics fields on Planet. The place where the first facility on Planet had been installed is a favourite for visiting tourists, apart from the many other displays of success and wealth of Morgan Industries.

Something similar for some of our VP's would be apreciated."

Notice that I've slightly changed the text to remove the monolith comment, but left the river comment. We already know that factions other than us have likely started with a river, so that's information they should already know. Also, network node has been changed to the more vague facility. Again, information they should already know.

You know what? First I forgot to turn off base grid, so I had to srap all screenies I´ve taken and start all over again... Now that I´ve finished the map, I notice that I´ve turned on "show flattened terrain", which I didn´t when drawing all the upper layer thingies like borders and city locations...

It seems as if this was not my day

It's just fine. The next revision in a few years just won't have those problems. I didn't notice/really care about the problems until they were brought up.

Hm, I hate having unfinished work laying around ... Fixed the terrain thing, now it should work fine with all the layers...

Note that we expanded our borders to the south, and since parts of these borders haven´t been mapped by our own explorers, I had to assume they were still at the same point they have been in 2145...
