Looks like we'll meet the Hive next turn. I moved the scout into the fungus to his east. He bounced out, but still revealed a veteren hive synth defender through the fungus. We did not make contact with the Hive though this action, but we will undoubtably make contact next turn when they move into the fungus. We must therefore make preparations for that.
Followed Jt's former plan, except for the Eastern former, where I have so far only moved it north into MorgVulc. The proposed square north of MorgVulc for the road is rocky, and therefore takes three turns to road. The square NW, i.e. the volcano cone, is rolling and so may be quicker. Are there penalties to terraforming for the center volcano square? Either way, it's probably best to road that center square (Even if we have to use the Road to... trick to make it work) as theres a higher chance of successfully moving onto a rolling square than a rocky square with partial movement. Alternativly we could move back to the nut bonus and forest.
Drogue, are we allowed to use the automated formers terraforming abilities?
Mid turn numbered as 2 because I forgot to take screen grabs. Saving a turn mid turn with the same name as an existing file causes a bug. The game thinks you're replaying where you're not. Meh.
