  • 2119 end turn + 2120 discussion

The Angels and Spartans both grew to size 4. Gaians, 3 still.

A Defense Attorney is in the queue.

Because Morg Ind will need a doctor right before it grows, on the same turn we're getting IA, the CP will be at exactly 10 mins when we switch to a crawler. I will not take credit for that happy accident.

    ***

I have a detailed forming plan for speeding movement to site 5. If you're not into micromanagement, close your eyes and rest a bit while you're scrolling down.

The southern former roads the rolling river where the rivers almost meet, two squares NW of its current location.

The two central formers finish the forest at the Hot Springs e-bonus, then head W+SW to build a road to connect the two rivers.

Those operations finish in 2123. Then all three remove the fungus east of the high e-bonus. That finishes in 2125, and a road finishes in 2126. Then one of those formers will be free to build roads elsewhere.

Two remaining western formers go to the e-bonus. One of them roads, and the other proceeds to base site 5 to road. The former on the e-bonus is freed for other operations by 2128. The last former is done 2130, while the CP out of Red Fungus Resort (formerly Morg Proc) is en route, sitting atop the e-bonus, waiting for the road to finish so it can found the new base in 2130.

Very little former time is lost to movement with this plan, because it involves a lot of "move 2 squares along a road or river, then do the real work". It gains the new base two turns of production, and connects it via road and river to the central core. It saves two minerals of support at RFR, too.

Are we going to build a Legal Team? Or will IA come before we can build it?

Suggest that when the formers are done roading near the energy bonus that they solar the energy bonus, and we send a crawler from MorInd asap to take advantage of it.

              Nice work Jt

I have to say, I love the way you've named things, and the way you're run in character Sure, the Morgan's lend themselves well to being playing in character, but everything from the board make up, to the 'legal team' is brilliant Certainly makes me smile when flicking through the forums to see what's going on

If you'd like, I hereby award the Morganites a Kody It's like an Oscar, but appointed by the Gods, and named after our narrator

What is the eastern former supposed to be doing this next turn?

My hope was for the eastern former to road North of Vulcanology, then NW of there to that base site on the other side of the peak. That's considerably less investment than the plan for the other formers, but still returns two base turns and two support. After that it should probably connect those two bases to the central bases somehow (to truly get the same return as the other operation).

Lone, in two turns we can rush the Attorney at Red Fungus Resort. A few turns after that, we'll get IA. What do the board members want to do with it?

Thanks for the Kody, Drogue. Is it made of gold? How much do you think we can auction it for? If we called it a "Cody," can we get a kickback on the royalty savings?

I'm not sure that the solaring of the second energy bonus is that great an idea, unless there are formers really close, since it will give 6 energy once we get a crawler there. Seems like too much work. Forested and worked, it would make 1/2/4, which is +1 FOP for 1 less formerturn, and we were considering building a base there anyway.

#endgame might have a point... I'm not sure yet on this one.

It might be a while before the HQ can send a crawler there? If we get PTS and need to work more than the monolith near that base, it would be a tempting square to work.

The 1/2/4 if worked might lose an energy to efficiency, though, which wouldn't happen if the HQ sent a crawler, plus the HQ has a node to magnify the energy. Another way to look at it, is that with a forest, it only gets +2 energy, but with a solar, it gets +4 due to altitude. A forest can be put any old place for 1/2/2, but solars should go on high energy specials.
